CONFUCIAN RELATION AND CHINESE ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE

This chapter is aimed to provide a brief description of Confucian Relationalism and to discuss its application in understanding various types of organizational culture in Chinese private or public business. The concept of Confucian relationalism was proposed by Prof. Kwang-Kuo Hwang. In order to illustrate the special features of Chinese social psychology, he adopted a two-stage strategy to construct a global psychology with specific consideration of Chinese cultural tradition.
